Spring Break Poker Classic Structure



With just a little under three weeks to go before the Spring Break Poker Classic kicks off, a young man’s mind turns to simple things… like tournament structures.

As you probably know, the Beau Rivage Poker Room is lucky enough to have Johnny Grooms as Tournament Director. Johnny has served as TD for everything from the 2005 World Series of Poker to the WPT events held at the Beau Rivage. Thanks to Johnny’s experience tournaments at the Beau are world-class affairs.

Now to the good stuff – the Spring Break Poker Classic structure. 15 of the total 22 events are strictly No-Limit Hold’em; another combines No-Limit Hold’Em with Pot-Limit Omaha. Here is the structure for the No-Limit Hold’em events, as relayed by Tournament Director Johnny Grooms:

$300 + $40- 40 min levels, T5,000
$500 + $50- 45 min levels, T6,000
$1,000 + $70- 50 min Levels, T 8,000

$5,000 + $150 – 75 min levels, T15,000

$550 Megasats- 30 min levels, T6,000
$1,070 Megasats 30 min levels, T8000

$175 + $25 – 30 Min levels, T4,000

This is the same structure that was used in the Southern Poker Championship. Join us at the Spring Break Poker Classic and play just like the pros!
