The big one.
122 players ponied up $2,500 for a chance at tournament greatness. With a prize pool of $290,700 plus a $5,150 buyin to the Gulf Coast Poker Championship Main Event waiting for the winner, this was the tournament to be in.
Every final table player had a previous tournament cash under their belt. Some of them – Mark Eddleman & David Diaz already had Spring Break Poker Classic final tables under their belts. Others had been crowned champion before – Benjamin Clayborn, Nicholas Vita, & Leo Boothe. Daniel Walsh and Davy Murrah saw their lifetime cashes more than double with their finish in this event. But the greatest change of all came for William Sineath. His first place finish earned him $104,652 plus the Gulf Coast Poker Championship ME buyin – all a far cry from his previous $3,432 winnings.
