Beau Rivage Poker Calendar – August 2009



BEAU RIVAGE POKER ROOM MOST VALUABLE PLAYER PROMOTION
Continuing in August, Beau Rivage’s poker room will reward the top 20 players in hours played with a total of $20,000 in cash.  The Most Valuable Player promotion will begin Wednesday, April 15 at 12:00am and will be active 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Players will receive cash prizes based on tracked hours of play.  There are 5 total play sessions that will be tracked.  The first session will have a $10,000 award pool to be divided among the top 20 players in hours played.  Each following session will have $20,000 in prizes to be divided among the top 20 players in hours played.

The play sessions are as follows: Session 1 April 15-31 $10,000; Session 2 May 1-31 $20,000; Session 3 June 1-30 $20,000; Session 4 July 1-31 $20,000 and Session 5 August 1-31 $20,000.  Cash prizes are as follows: Session 1 – 1st $2,500, 2nd $1,700, 3rd $1,200, 4th $1,000, 5th $600, 6th-10th $300, 11th-15th $200 and 16th-20th $100.  Sessions 2 through 5: 1st $3,000, 2nd $2,500, 3rd $2,000, 4th 1,500, 5th $1,000, 5th-10th $1,000 and 11th-20th $500.

Hours will be tabulated on the first day following each playing session.  Players may collect prizes at 3:00pm on the first day following the playing session.  A list of winners will be available in the Beau Rivage poker room.  In the event of a tie, players involved will split the top prize and subsequent prizes, based on the number of players involved in the tie.

BEAU RIVAGE POKER ROOM TO HOLD SUPER STACK LEADERBOARD WITH $10,000 MONTHLY FREEROLL
Continuing in August, Beau Rivage poker players can earn points to win $10,000 in monthly freeroll by playing in the Super Stack tournaments.  Players will receive points based on final table finishes in all Super Stack tournaments.  The top 40 players in points earned for each session will receive a free entry into a $10,000 prize pool No Limit Holdem tournament.  Registration will begin one hour prior to the start of the tournament.  There is o entry fee or administration for this tournament.  Players will qualify by earning points in Super Stack tournaments from April 14-August 28.

The sessions are as follows: Session 1 April 15-May 29 with the Freeroll tournament to be played at 6:00pm on Sunday, June 7; Session 2 June 1-June 30 with the Freeroll tournament to be played on Sunday, July 12; Session 3 July 1-31 with the Freeroll tournament to be played on Sunday, August 9 and Session 4 August 1-28 with the Freeroll tournament to be played on Sunday, August 30.

One point will be earned for each tournament entry.  Points will be awarded for “in the money finishes” with the following values assigned by order of finish in qualifying tournaments: with 36 or more players, 1st place receives 20 points, 2nd place receives 16 points, 3rd place receives 13 points, 4th place receives 11 points, 5th place receives 9 points, 6th place receives 7 points, 7th place receives 5 points, 8th place receives 3 points and 9th place receives 2 points.  With 35 or less players, 1st place receives 20 points, 2nd place receives 16 points, 3rd place receives 13 points, 4th place receives 11 points and 5th place receives 9 points.
