Event #26 – $1,580 No Limit Hold’em



We pick up the action on the final table. On a flop of 9-7-4, Mark Fledderman checked and Matt Brady fired out 7,100. Tom Quinlan put in a raise to 20k and Fledderman folded. Brady moved all-in and Quinlan made the call with pocket K’s that were outdrawn by the pocket 9′s of Brady. The turn was a J and the river was a 6. Tom Quinlan of Montgomery, Texas finished 9th earning $4,802.

Matt Brady had Bruce Perry all-in on a flop of 9-Q-2 with Bruce holding A-J versus the pocket 2′s of Brady. The turn was an 8 and the river was a 3. Bruce Perry of Nashville, Tennessee finished 8th earning $6,402.

Mark Fledderman put in a raise of 10k from under the gun and action folded to the bb, where Jerry Milanos moved all-in. Fledderman called with A-K versus the pocket 8′s of Milanos. The flop came 5-9-5, the turn was an 8, and the river was a 4. Mark Fledderman of St. Louis, Missouri finished 7th earning $8,003.

Justin Scott put in a raise of 9k on the button. Patrick Mahoney flat called the bet from the sb and Alexander Kuzmin moved all-in for 100k. Scott folded and Patrick called with pocket 9′s versus the A-K of Kuzmin. The flop was A-6-2, giving Kuzmin the lead. The turn was a 9 and Mahoney was in the lead again. The river was a blank and Alexander Kuzmin finished 6th earning $9,603.

On a flop of 5-9-3, there was a little confusion about the betting. Matt Brady put in a small bet and Jerry Milanos tried to make a big raise, but accidentally put in the wrong amount. The situation got resolved and the two players got to a turn of 10. Jerry moved all-in with Matt quickly calling. Jerry washolding J’s versus the K’s of Brady. The river was a blank and Jerry Milanos of Hillsboro, Illinois finished 5th earning $11,204.

Jonathan Little had a little more than 10 bb’s and moved all-in on the button. Matt Brady folded in the sb, but Justin Scott quickly called with pocket A’s from the bb. Jonathan tabled Js-3s. The flop was 7c-9c-8s. The turn was the 9h, and the river was the 6c. Jonathan Little of Pensacola, Florida finished 4th earning $12,804.

Matt Brady and Patrick Mahoney got all the money in the middle with Matt holding a little more. Patrick would need to improve with his A-K versus the pocket Q’s of Matt. The flop produced a Q and the rest of the board drew blanks for Mahoney. Patrick Mahoney of Lakeland, Tennessee finished 3rd earning $19,206.

Matt Brady crippled Justin Scott in a previous hand and had a huge lead. Then, Matt moved in on the button and Justin made the call. Matt held K-8 versus the J-9 of Scott. The flop was 7-6-K, the turn was a 9 and the river was a 7. Justin Scott of Detroit, Michigan finished 2nd earning $30,410.
